Texas Premier League announces to begin play in 2024

Dallas, TX (July 11th, 2023) – The Texas Premier League (TXPL) is set to begin league play for summer of 2024 and will feature both a men’s and women’s division, each divided into North and South Conferences with the intent on expanding its reach to four total conferences, fully encompassing all of Texas by 2026.

The TXPL will continue to build on the success of the Gulf Coast Premier League’s (GCPL) regional model and provide a balanced league structure that will offer clubs a competitive environment on the pitch while delivering a professional and engaging experience for supporters and fans off the pitch.

“There has been a large amount of growing interest from Texas to bring the GCPL model into the region.” said Interim Commissioner, Jonathan Rednour “We have been carefully doing our homework, speaking with many club owners from various leagues, trying to understand the complexities involved with connecting a league system in Texas.”

“Football South is a vision to unite all of the southeastern states (Region III) under one League System with various tiers and divisions to foster growth for all levels.” added Rednour.
